Mr. Shee ( Shee Bai Lien ), born in 1927 in Shih Lin.  He graduated from the Japanese Industrial Technical College, and taught at Shih Lin elementary school ( from teacher to directors for education, school affairs, etc. ) for as long as 45 years.  His impressive records include fifty some awards ranging from education bureaus, national education award, and a dozen interview by television and other media.  

His 50 plus publications include "Mr.Shee's mathbook", "the dictionary of math", and he founded the Shih Lin Elementary School History Museum and the Earthly Teaching Material Museum.

In addition, he is the living dictionary and the nation's most qualified expert on the history of Chee Shan Rock.  He not only took over 400 photographs of Chee Shan Rock, added over 100 words to explain in detail every picture, but also designed and arranged them into an educational and artistic display on the Cultural Hall of Hway Jee Temple, which tourists and worshippers can view and learn from.

Mr. Shee has been the Jeen Lee rubber co.'s vice president since retirement in 1980, and spends his entire leisure time to study further the history of Chee Shan Rock and is now appointed to be the professor at Shih Lin community college, in charge of teaching local history.  A real character to meet
