The Chinese Business Association was founded in July of 1997.  It was a non-profit organization founded in October of 1983.  The main body consists of people who care about the youths of Taiwan.  The 200 members are made up of professors, accountants, and other professionals, and the members-to-be include about 200 students who study business, finance, or other related fields in colleges and universities.

In July of 1984, we held the first "Asian Youth Leaders' Camp" which invited 73 students from 13 different countries who came to Taiwan to report on their own countries economic situation and prospects, while learning about international affairs and making friends from other cultures.  The camp not only attracted the attention of numerous government officials, business owners, but also won international accolades, as it won the best activity of the year that year, selected by similar associations of its kind.  The official members of our association are well trained and experienced to handle and hold large events and all related work; in this particular project, we played the role of connecting government officials with Shih Lin Elementary and we felt especially proud that our youths has the opportunity to interact with kids their own age in other countries from all over the world, and we feel that this is the most meaningful aspect of this project.
