Yu nong elementary school was proposed in 1974 by yu shen elementary, and build in 1979, and was named after the great general Dai.
Since its construction, Yu Nong Elementary prospered under the leadership of principals Hsu, Loo, Dseng, Chen, Gong, and now Chen Liu Ping. We grew from the initial 14 classes to the 53 class school, with 97 teachers and some1,490 students. Our software and hardware has been expanding consistently and our teachings have been aimed to raise the living quality and standard of our community and students, and thus we are now considered one of the finest schools in the area.
We expanded our library in 1984 and set up the cultural exhibition room specifically designed for Chee Shan Rock. We also set up a website introducing Chee Shan Rock to the general public, and compiled and published a miniature guide book to the Rock for every student in our school, hoping they could further understand and appreciate what a marvelous treasure they possess right here in their community.
