orchid
bamboo is a unique plant in Taiwan, and Chee Shan
Rock is one of the
earliest place which discovered it. It is named after the old name
for Shih Lin ( 8 orchid ).
It's
special characteristics is its hairiness along its "ears".
It's located near the east and north or the hilltop.
Once
man tried to grow it in the lower altitudes of Taiwan, but now they are scarce
except in the Chee Shan Rock area.
