About 4,500 to 6,000 years ago, due to the fact that the the ground rose up, and the seawater resided, Taipei lake became a type of muddy wetland, and even though it has become dryland now, we still see traces of the wetland plantlife around this area that people in the past have found and collected, such as Windbox Tree、Hway Flower Chessboard Feet、waterwillows.
