There
are a few giant rocks near the rockgod temple which are called the four
treasures for their shapes resemble the traditional four treasures 
of
the Chinese study:inkstone,paper,pen,
and ink stick.
They are essential to scholars and since Shih Lin in filled with scholars, thus the name seemed appropriate.
