Rules for the Shih Lin Elementary 

"the Rock" drawing contest  

A. purpose:

1.combining art with community and culture will enable students to learn more about their county

2.in cooperation with the cyberfair.

B. process:

1. color maps: pretend you are the engineer in chief and given a map of the Rock, please draw your ideal picture of her.  deadline: 11/21/00

2. portraits:

    1.time: 11/20/00 from 8 to 12 noon

    2.place: meet at the school lobby

    3.tools: please bring painting tools

    4.preparation: please read related materials

    5.leaders:Ms.Tung and company

C. cautions:

1.art teachers will be judges

2.parents mustn't draw for kids

3.good works will be posted on website

4.restricted to six graders only

D. awards

    good works will be openly applauded in schools' public meetings and given small awards

E. the principal reserves all rights to make changes
